Remaining Faithful to God

Remaining Faithful To god

We all go through struggles, some harder than others, and our life is full of them. Unending, everyday struggles. How we handle those struggles says a lot about who we are.

I think we have all gone through days where our struggles were so big that we wanted to give up or we’ve almost lost our faith. We don’t get the answers we want when we want them instead of waiting on God. You may get the thought that God gave up on you.

No matter our struggle or lack of faith, God will never give up on us. God always remains faithful to us. God wants us to be faithful in him and trust him always.

2 Samuel 22:26
To the faithful you show yourself faithful, to the blameless you show yourself blameless

When you are faithful (loyal and constant), God sees your faithfulness. When you are innocent of wrongdoing, God sees you as blameless.

Sincerely Silver Co.

God sees when we are being faithful. He sees when we are being consistent. We need to be consistent in our prayer life. He wants us to pray every day, throughout the day, not just on Sunday. That is faithful!

God wants all of us. Our whole self, not just a small piece. He wants us to give him our life, our mind, and our soul. When we are in Church and the worship team is worshiping God, He wants us to stand, put everything down, give him our troubles, struggles, and cares to praise him and worship him. We need to respect him and our time with him. We need to be faithful to him, give him our full attention and give our whole self to him.

Luke 16:10
 Luke 16:10
Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.

God trusts us with certain things. When we give God reason to trust us with what he gives us, he believes he can trust us with a lot. If we give God a reason not to trust us, he won’t give us much. We need to be honest and faithful in the things we have and the things God gives us. Whether its’s money, situations, our spiritual calling, etc. if God gives us something he wants to be able to trust us with it.

Romans 12:12
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

These three things are part of the fruit of the Spirit. Rejoice (be joyful) in your expectation and desire for that thing you want to happen, be patient through that suffering, be steadfast (loyal, constant) in prayer. We need to be intentional in our prayer life. We need to have consistency in our prayer life.

Sincerely Silver Co.

When it is prayer time in church, whether someone is being prayed over or a leader is praying over the church, no matter what prayer is being said, the congregation should be quiet. We need to respect the person praying, the one(s) being prayed over, and God. During the time that someone is being prayer over or prophesied to, we should be praying to ourselves or reaching our hands out and praying for the one being prayed over. This is all part of being faithful to our God and Father and showing respect. God calls us to pray for others. If we aren’t praying for the ones being prayed over, we can pray to ourselves, God may be trying to talk to us during this time as well. Have a conversation with God.

Proverbs 2:8
for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.

He protects our path when we are faithful to him. When we walk with the
Lord he protects the way. He guards our course. He won’t protect the way of the wicked.
Proverbs 2:8

2 Timothy 2:13
if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself.

God will always be faithful to us even if we are not faithful to him. God is a faithful God and he cannot lie or disown himself. God will always be a faithful God, he will always be a loving God, he will always be there waiting for us, waiting for us to call on him, waiting for us to be faithful to him. He will never leave our side, he is always with us. Even when we walk away, he is still there waiting for us to come back.

God wants us to be faithful to him in all things. He wants us to be faithful in prayer, in our walk with him, in our life. He wants us to put him first in all things as well. He wants our hearts, minds and soul. He wants all of us, our whole being, all day, every day, in every situation. Give yourself to him. All-of-yourself.
