7 Words I Never Want to Hear Jesus Say to Me

There are 7 words I never want to hear Jesus say to me:
Depart from me, I never knew you.

Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!' -Matthew 7:23

I would be devastated to hear him say that or anything like it.
Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. Matthew 7:15
What Jesus meant by this was that there were and are many false
prophets and they come as wolves in sheep's clothing. (Matthew 7:15)

A person can seem like a Christian but they are putting on a front. They are the blind leading the blind. They take the Word of God and tickle their followers ears with what they want to hear and not the truth of what the Word of God is really saying.

It is important to really pay attention to what people are preaching and fact check with what the Bible says and what it was literally saying.

Some people like their ears tickled because they want to be comfortable living the life they are living, what they think, and (they think) no consequences. Hopefully they get the reality check they need before they meet our maker.

Only the ones who do the will of God will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Matthew 7:21Only the ones who do the will of God will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. (Matthew 7:21)

If you want to enter the Kingdom of Heaven be careful of what you're listening to, watching, and speaking. (Hear no evil, See no evil, Speak no evil). When you go to a Church (or don't go to a Church) because you like your lifestyle and they wont tell you that you are sinning you need to find another Church.

2 Timothy 4:3

For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.

As Christians we are suppose to hold each other accountable and only share the TRUTH, not twist the Bible to our personal liking. We are to go to our brother or sister in Christ about their sin. However, we need to make sure we don't have sin ourselves first. (Matthew 7:3-5)
Matthew 18:15-17 (NIV)
"If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listent to you, you have won them over. But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that 'every matter may be established by the testimony of the two or three witnesses.' If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector.

Depart from me, I never knew you.Another thing that Jesus meant by "Depart from me, I never knew you" was that they didn't have Jesus in their heart. They didn't have a relationship with him. They wanted nothing to do with Jesus. And Jesus tells us very clearly that non believers (anyone without Jesus in their hearts) will not inhearit the Kingdom of Heaven.(Galatians 5:21, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Matthew 5:20) They wont have the chance to go to heaven.

When anyone choses to follow Christ and receives Jesus in their heart as their personal Lord and Savior they are restored and now walk with Jesus.

If they are removed from the Church because they refused to listen (reference Matthew 18:15-17) they can be restored to the Church once they have repented and show that they have repented. (Philemon 17-22)

As for me, I want to have and do have Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I never want to go into judgment day and have Jesus tell me that I can't enter the gates of heaven. I want to hear "Well done, good and faithful servant."

Jesus is waiting for the unbelievers to turn their hearts to him. He is also waiting for the believers who are sinning to turn back to him and repent

For anyone that doesn't turn their heart to him, this is the end result:

 Revelation 20:15 (NIV)
Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

Is your name in the Book of Life, or is Jesus going to say, "I never knew you, depart from me"?

  2. It is most definitely the scariest thing a person would ever be told! I am so grateful that my name is written in the book of life. I hope to continue sharing with others as long as I live, of how they too can receive this beautiful gift of salvation.
