Something's on Fire

Somethings On Fire

In the middle of the night, my 4-year-old son woke up and climbed into bed with me and my husband.  He was sick and really warm, which woke me up. I was almost asleep when I sat straight up very quickly and stated, “Something's on fire!” So my husband sat up in alarm and asked, “Is it?!” He shot out of bed and searched our home to find absolutely nothing on fire or smoking. I asked him to come around to my side of the bed but there was nothing. It was just me. I realized I was on fire.

A fire was ignited within me, the holy spirit within me, changing me from the inside out. I want my heart set on fire, a fire that I can't contain.
Set a fire in me that I can't contain.

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. -Acts 2:1‭-‬4 NIV

The Holy Spirit moved and filled each person where they were sitting. The Holy Spirit gave them the ability to speak in tongues.

I love feeling the Holy Spirit move. I love being filled with the Holy Spirit. The one thing I desire is to speak in tongues.

If you've never felt or experienced the Holy Spirit move, you should work on experiencing it. Once you feel it, you'll want to feel it all the time.
Set my heart on fire

My soul thirst for the Lord and I was him to ignite my heart on fire. My soul clings to him.

He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in him. -Psalm 40:3 NIV

When the Holy Spirit moves he puts a New song in me. I want to sing and shout praises to him.

If the Lord has blessed you in any way, start singing his praises, worship him and let the Holy Spirit move within you.
