Intentional  Everything God does is intentional. Some people think that God made mistakes, but the truth is, God doesn't make mistakes. God makes people the way they are for a purpose, he aligns things to happen at certain times which can frustrate some but it is with intention.

Your frustration may be someone's answer to prayer or your own answer to prayer. Here is what I
mean; You're on your way to work and get held up at a long red light, you continue down the road to get stopped at 5 more red lights. Now you're frustrated because you're going to be late to work. What you don't realize is that God put those red lights in front of you to avoid an accident with another driver that was praying for a safe ride to work. God intentionally slowed you down so the both of you could arrive to work safely.

God never fails. Everything works for His good.   He does things for our good. He directs our paths with intention.

God is mighty, but despises no one; he is mighty, and firm in his purpose. -Job 36:5

How can we live intentionally?

"The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth. For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.

If you point these things out to the brothers and sisters, you will be a good minister of Christ Jesus, nourished on the truths of the faith and of the good teaching that you have followed. Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives' tales; rather, train yourself to be godly. For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come. This is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance. That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe.

Command and teach these things. Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching. Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through prophecy when the body of elders laid their hands on you.

Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress. Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers." -1 Timothy 4:1-16

1. "The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons." We need to be intentional, watching and listening. We need to make sure we stay on the path of righteousness, following God and not deceptive spirits. We need to stand up for the truth and not follow the hypocritical liars. Let's not abandon our faith, stand firm!

Intentional2. "If you point these things out to the brothers and sisters, you will be a good minister of Christ Jesus, nourished on the truths of the faith and of the good teaching that you have followed." We need to be intentional in helping our sisters and brothers in Christ stay on the right path. We need to minister to one another so we don't get lost and wander off. We need to be intentional and train ourselves to be godly. This way we don't abandon the faith and only follow the truth. Training ourselves to be godly helps us to hold promise for our present life and our eternal life.

3. "Command and teach these things. Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching." Be intentional in teaching these things. Keep going even when people look down on you or tell you that you can't or shouldn't be teaching these things. Anyone at any age can teach the truth and lead others to God. Conduct yourself intentionally in your speech, in love, in faith and in purity.

4. " Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through prophecy when the body of elders laid their hands on you." When God gives you your gift and it has been prophesied to you, be intentional and use that gift. Practice your gift daily.

5. "Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress. Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers." Be intentional in these matters. Watch what you do because people are watching and listening. You may be the only Bible that some people are reading. Be intentional in spreading the Word of God, the truth.

Not only do we need to be intentional in our words but we need to also ACT on these things.

  Everything works for our good.

How can we be an intentional learner?
intentional
We need to be intentional learners by reading the Bible, intentionally seeking the truth. We should
be reading the Bible to learn more about the individual gifts that have been assigned to us. We should desire and strive to learn more about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

Digging into the word daily helps us with our walk with Christ, it helps us to be stronger Christians so that we can spread the good news without being hypocrites.

In closing:

Be intentional and desire to get to know God better every day. God is intentional and makes everything work for our good. We can be intentional and seek God daily.

Do you live your life intentionally? Have you seen God work intentionally in your life?
